Responsibilities

SearchIgnite is looking for a software engineer to join a dynamic team charged with architecting and developing the next generation of our media management application using cutting-edge UI frameworks for high profile clients in advertising, media, entertainment, commerce and travel.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree or higher
Able to demonstrate senior-level experience with the following technologies:
Object-oriented development
Component development
Multithreading
Remoting
Web Services
C#/ ASP.NET (.NET 3.5)
Desktop application development
MVC development
Strong desire/self-motivation to learn new technologies and frameworks
Clearly exhibits and articulates personal philosophies around software development
Understands the importance of documentation and coding standards
Demonstrates ability/strong desire to:
Complete tasks with excellent organizational and communication skills
Communicate technical concepts both verbally and in written form using everyday language
Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
Troubleshoot issues/bugs effectively and efficiently
Constantly look for ways to improve the development environment, coding standards and lead initiatives towards the latest technologies
The following qualifications will distinguish candidates from others:
Experience working in a startup environment
Experience in the Search Engine industry
Experience working with web based analytic packages or other cookie based tracking solutions
Strong familiarity with Microsoft .NET 3.5 Framework
